To further reduce CO2-emissions Kaufland is now working together with us, Klim. “The vast majority of the emissions from a food company occur within its supply chain. We are enthusiastic about Kaufland´s dedicated effort to reduce these emissions in the future with help of regenerative agriculture and Klim”, says Felix Jonathan Jakobsen, Chief Commercial Officer at Klim.
Klim is creating a joint movement together with farmers, food companies and consumers to spread regenerative agriculture as soon as possible, reduce CO2-emissions in a sustainable way and improve soil health and biodiversity. Food companies have the huge opportunity to support regenerative agriculture within their own supply chains and consumers by purchasing products with our Klim Label. In order to reduce their own emissions Kaufland has already joined the initiative “Science Based Targets”.
